It was going to be a mod for RTCW but they decided to make it free.

There's no catch, it's completely free.

It's CO-OP based. You can be axis or allies. Eg: One level involves the Axis trying to load a railgun while the Allies try to stop them by lowering barriers across the tracks and dynamiting gun controls. It's all good fun!

It beats waiting for moles to appear in your garden, and then aiming for their neck as you pounce on them. That was my life before this game..

Fantastic game, probably the best stand-alone free game in existence, and one of the best online FPS games

I've wasted many hours with ET. Haven't played it much since I got DoD when I bought HL2 though.

DoD is an orgasmic game. Really. It's just great.

Yeah. Playing the same 6 maps over and over gets old.

Indeed. But I still like the maps. I wish something like mp_beach (from RtCW) was added.

I really don't like Goldrush. The odds against the Allies are too much. And the later versions took out the "bank strike" glitch.

The problem with Goldrush is that when you play Allies half your team is jsut going for kills with airstrikes, artillery or panzerfausts.
