I am enjoying the fourth day of our long weekend.

and since you yanks only get a three day weekend :p .

Actually, it's a regular weekend. We don't get any days off for Easter (unless you work on Sundays).

Easter sunday, and easter monday? what? Is there something I don't know, or does Easter monday simply refer to the day after actual easter where some might still have off school/work or something?

if that was sarcasm then :p

if that was a serious question then easter sunday is the actual holiday when the eggs are trationaly given and the easter mass occurs, and easter monday is an extra public holiday that for some reason only happens in Australia, New Zeland, Canada, UK and Ireland. (at least according to the calander my mum has beside her computer.)

I think its just to give people a day off work since easter is on a sunday.

I am on spring break right now. So yay for a week of catch up work and no play!

Americans get the least time off at work in the world. We also work more hours than any other nation.

He puts on a great show, he has a comic come to the seats beforehand, then jokes around with the audience personally in the stands. It's wild how small the set is in person, though, they make it look huge with camera angles.

My (christian-based) college gave us good friday off, but we didn't get today off. What's up with that?!? Why can't we have time to spend easter with our families rather than be forced to travel back to school on easter?
