I just got Internet at my NEW house, and I must say, it is the awesomest house EVER! It's a 4 bed 2.5 bath. IT HAS A LOFT! A dining room (That I am going to turn into a THEATER room - projector, screen and such) A Living room, a Family room (that I am turning into a billiard room), and EAT IN kitchen, utility room, a huge 2 car garage and a POOL! Not to mention about 3 random closets. Once my "pimp pad" is fully operational, (ie, the theatre and billiard room are complete) I will post MORE pictures of it. As for now.. THIS is all you get ;)

I am renting :( and I have 4 room mates... :) (my roommates are cool as hell) And yes.. there will DEFINATELY be Halloween pictures. ;)

DON'T get a projector. Projectors on average are shoddy expensive pieces of crap. The lightbulbs burn out, they get burned in images, the image quality is poor, stuff can block the projection, they're high maintenance, etc.

Get a nice LCD HDTV or something, but definately don't get a projector.

Yeah, you can almost get an LCD screen at the same size for the same price including maintainence prices.

Awesome. Where is it, so I can come live there?

And I disagree about the projector thing. Newer projectors are usually pretty fairly priced, and don't require too much maintenance at all, i.e. the bulbs last pretty long (usually a couple of thousand hours, which isn't bad). Especially considering if you want a large screen, a projector that could display a nice, bright, 80" image would be an order of magnitude cheaper than a TV that could do the same.

Go with a DLP projector. They're nice.

Yeah, I was thinking this also. there are 5 of us in the house so an expensive projector could easily be made cheap (per person)

Trans Am is mine. Rent is $1450 a month.. split 5 ways that is $290 per person (I was paying $310 at my old house, which is much smaller)

That's an awesome house... I really like open houses like that, it'll be cool in spring/summer, when light is really coming in. I'm picturing kickass pool parties as well. Congrats on the excellent purchase

Blah, i'm not worried about that.. I lived in my old house for 2 years with no problems, and this one is cheaper.
