I signed up and I'm having a lot of fun with this. They give you 10 free trials w/ an account, each for 10 days. So if a few of you want to try it then just holler. It's arcade, but it takes thought. You generally can find a squad fairly easy and you can mess with most of the weapons in a virtual training area. 2 pics I have.

What server are you playing on (you can name US West/East/whatevertheotheroneis if you don't remember the server name itself)?

I am all up ons the Lasher and Magrider. I'm BFR certified, but don't really enjoy using them. I occasionally drive a Lightning or use MAX armor, but the NC missle launcher makes both of those nearly useless.

My favorite thing about the TR is looting one of their miniguns (I refuse to call it an MCG, that abbreviation and name is stupid). TR's missle launcher is a pain in the butt but I don't hate it as much as the Phoenix. Other than that, I got no beef with the TR, they're 100 times more fun to fight against.

And yeah, anyone using a Jackhammer should get their hands chopped off. I'd like to see you fire that stupid thing at me using knubs you jerks!

I've messed w/ a VS on Markov

I've got a TR and a NC on Emerald. I think I like NC the most though. VC are cooler, but I almost feel like they already do well enough w/o me. I can't really decide where to play most of the time, but I figure since I'm still learning stuff it doesn't matter.

My only advice would be to stay away from Emerald, regardless of which team you choose. Those people are nasty. My opinion is NC don't need help, they're the dominant species. TR are underequipped and VS undermanned.

Quib, I haven't played PS in over a year; tell me, have they fixed the TR MAXes yet or are they all still gimped?

Well, I only started playing 2 months ago (I did play beta) so I'm not sure in which way that they're gimped you're referring to.

The dual minigun TR MAX is a freaking sniper when they're locked down; they're my toughest foe when down in the CC caves or at long range when I'm on foot. The other TR MAX forms are not a threat in my opinion. If I'm in the VS AV MAX I walk all over the NC and TR MAXes, it's just the jerk grunts with AV weapons that I fear (well, and vehicles, but I generally stay in a base or do MAX crashes).

I do see plenty of TR MAXes though, so some people must like them.

You're kidding me! LMAO! They super unnerfed them. Those MAXes used to be utterly worthless. A guy with a pulsar in Rexo had a good chance of taking one down. They used to do NO damage and they had insanely bad accuracy.
