This is just a rant but I love and hate spring let me tell you why!

Why I hate spring!

1.) The prom is comming And you know me I hate anything that involves "wraith" <- nerds goths jocks pops what ever I gave them all one name.

2.) People think school is the beach and come in half naked with 3rd degree burns from lying out in the suns radiation.
Thats a great idea! And a great way to get skin cancer and how to look like emporer palpatine with a worse wrinkle face in your 20s, and 30s!

3.) I hate flipflops! I'd shoot myself before I ever wear them. I feel bad for the people who do where them Its a great way of getting nasty worts and rashes. Wonderful idea......

4.) The school I go to gets a nasty oder during warm weather.

5.) Did I mention I hate flipflops!?

Why I love spring!

1.) Summer is close! No school, no stupid work, no stupid tutoring, no stupid teachers, And I can sleep in all I want. Not to mention try to break my record of no sleep all summer LONG!

2.) I think thats about it!


Im sorry but I just had to post my ranting, and heart warming opinion about spring.....

"Wraith", eh? So basically you took all the stereotypes and lumped them together? Where do you fit in with this crazy scheme?

As for the other stuff... well, I guess that's just a matter of personal opinion. Though I suggest you give the prom a try. I thought I was going to hate it, but my friends convinced me to go and I actually had fun. So who knows.

So you hate the sun? I wear shorts and tshirts all summer.. and I dont have skin cancer. Guess I'd better crawl under a mountain ala smeagol.

Well yeah. If you watched SG atlantis and compared the wraith female to the goth females at school there very much alike they yell make death threats THEY EVEN LOOK ALIKE! And basicly the pops get hostile so there wraith too So Instead of naming them all like you would an alien race IE boths, tuskens and such. I just gave them all one name "Wraith" And hey there teenagers. Most of them couldent even tell the differance.

Oh hell no. Wraith females look far better than goths.

But I'd be careful putting "nerds" with all the rest; considering where you're posting this.

Spring kicks ***. The only bad thing about Spring is Pollen, which I am quite allergic to. But you see, that's why I take Claritin, which I swear is a miracle drug. One of those a day and it's like I never had said allergy.

I love the spring. It starts to warm up. I wear shorts, tank tops and sandals all the time. And even better, the girls wear shorts and tank tops all the time.

You would be driven out of California by flip-flop wearing beach-bums and surfers within five minutes of stepping across the border. You don't get blisters and warts if you get flip-flops that are grossly uncomfortable.

I hate nothing about spring. It means summer is coming and it is my favorite time of the year.

This thread is a gigantic ball of lame teenage angst.

Spring marks that it's time for the weather to get warmer. That's the number one reason I hate spring. I guess it's because I live in the desert too. There's no transition. One day it'll be 30, the next 60, then, before you know it, it's like 115 and always sunny, never any rain. blarg

What's wrong with not venturing outside?

I kind of felt the same way about Prom as you do, but I went anyways, and had a lot of fun. Just go with the people you are normally friends with, and stay with them, and it wont be so bad.

I have found this to be very not-true. For me, after high school, social groups pretty much evaporated. I've become friends with a lot of people I wouldnt have been friends with in High School.
