It seems the Scientific American editors have seen the error of their ways. (Yes, I got this from Sinfest forums, but I did read the magazine too)

Those people are reading scientific magazines that are purely opposite to their belief just in order to become offended. It strengthens their belief.

For goodness sake! That image (kennedy) is the most offensive, disrespectful, sickning thing i've seen in a long time. The president is dieing in that picture. A human is dieing in it. Please edit your post and use some form of comon sense.

He may have missed the 1.0, but your number is completely wrong.
