So I played Boggle with my mom last night
2005-04-02, 10:54 AM #1
Yea we played Boggle, and she wouldnt let me have the word "Zerg" because it was either a name (from Toy Story) or the name of a species from some silly little video game (Starcarft). It turns out those could have been the winning points for me. Is that BS or what? I think this goes well beyond the opression of THRAWN's mother even... I mean Starcraft is one of the most popular videogames out there, I suppose next she wouldn't let me have "Wookie" or "Romulan".

Knowing something means that you don't have a social life?

Now that's logic! Bravissimo!

I like Boggle, but my parents didn't let me have moogle. Uncultured gits.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Had it been scrabble, clear-cut there, no proper nouns.

[On a side note, last game i played i won with Legends for 30some points]

However, Boggle i don't recall the exact rulings, usually fairly casual when we play that. I'm a bit sketchy about playing word-games with family when i'm with them, or similar suchlike, because i feel i should restrain myself from finding dodgy words or tiling terms that could be embarassing to explain..

On another side-note i would like to forward that, last game of Boggle i played, i was able to get Quetzel. This may be scientifically impossible, so it may have been a similar word, but i'm pretty sure i remember doing that.
Also, I can kill you with my brain.
