Right now there are like thousands of butterflies around my house. :D
It's pretty cool and know it really feels like spring, do they ever migrate past your place?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

No... we just get swarms of bees. Last summer there was a swarm that had to be several hundred thousand, at least. They were all on the same tree branch, surrounding the queen; we initially thought there was a big hive under all of them, but we went back the next day and it was completely gone. The bees formed a solid mass that must have been about 2 feet in diameter by 3 feet long - that's a lot of bees. And to think I was going to throw a rock at it :o

Unless they managed to fly around a bit while on fire. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

(Listen all you chillun to that voodoo moan,
There's a modern villun worser than that old boogie woogie,
When that goofy critter spots your fancy clothes,
He injects a jitter, Starts you dancing on a thousand toes, There he goes!)

Who's that hiding in the tree top?
It's that rascal, The Jitterbug!
Should you catch him buzzing 'round you,
Keep away from, The Jitterbug!
Oh! the bees in the breeze and the bats in the trees have a terrible, horrible buzz,
But the bees in the breeze and the bats in the trees couldn't do what The Jitterbug does!
So be careful of that rascal, Keep away from The Jitterbug!
The Jitterbug!
Oh! The Jitter! Oh The Bug!
Oh! The Jitterbug, Bug-a-bug, bug-a-bug, bug-a-boo.
In a twitter, in the throes, Oh the critter's
Got me dancing on a thousand toes, Thar' she blows!
the idiot is the person who follows the idiot and your not following me your insulting me your following the path of a idiot so that makes you the idiot - LC Tusken

No.

Four or five balloons, filled with welding gas, one filled with just oxygen.

You tie them to the end of a stake, tall enough so that the balloons are directly below the bees.

Run far.

Shoot the balloons with a flare gun, or roman candle.

Explosion, large fireball, no more bees.

How do you plan on getting that close to the bees without being stung many many times?

Acetylene?

Oh, and large amounts of deet might work against bees. Not sure what it would do to your health though...

Buy a bee suit, they're only a couple hundred...
No sig.

Much cheaper just to stay inside. That and you don't run the risk of burning off your skin. I suppose that's a plus.

Welding gas is a generic term. MAPPs, Butane, Acetylene, etc etc.

Whatever will blow up... :P
