Has GOT to be banner ads with AUDIO. As if they're not annoying enough when they're quiet, now they've gotta have audio on them, too? DEATH TO INTERNET ADVERTISING!!!

yes it does, but is there a way I can get it to block such things automatically? Everytime I presently see an annoying ad, i have to click the little adblock tab next to it to get rid of it.

The "Jamster" ones are the worst....I hate them with a passion. All of their ads feature hideous little creatures that bounce back and forth (and zoom in and out) furiously, making it nearly impossible to concentrate on what you're trying to do. Should you accidentally drag your cursor over the banner - even if for only a split second - it begins playing horribly obnoxious sounds that the company actually tries to sell as cell phone "ringtones".

Those ads are straight out of hell. The jamster company itself seems to be a bunch of sleaze merchants, as noted here.

Page- wildcards help alot. instead of just blocking "../annoyingad.swf" I block a bunch of directories. like this

In my opinion, it would be those backround noises in AOE and Galactic Battlegrounds. Coolest games ever, (next to KOTOR and rogue sqaudron and JK and JK2.. ect.) but whenever ANYTHING happens theres a noise. And I keep my speekers on to hear the little comments my sister throws at me through the multiplaya chat sistem.

The most annoying thing was when I was trying to catch a few hours of sleep before my crucial exam on genetics. A few low-life, inconsiderate, no-exam, lesser academics decided to throw the loudest party I've ever heard. God, I hate those dudes. To retaliate, me and a friend peed in their mailbox. I hope I never reach ethical maturity.
