"Reality" shows must be stopped. I've been saying it ever since Fox came up with it's answer to Survivor (Paradise Island, wasn't it?). I've been boycotting these shows ever since then.

I can't believe you just used the Hitler defense. Reality TV obviously isn't as bad as what Hitler did, but it's still a horrible thing that must be stopped.

I don't get it, what's so bad about?
The girl can't take care of her baby so she has to choose adoptive parents? Usually the child is taken away or worse, killed by the desperate teenage mother. I fail to see why this show is so bad...

It's the way they're doing it. It's like a contest where the grand prize is a human life.

I hate to think about that kids future, I mean, he is gonna grow up, have a terriable life with media following him everywhere, the poor kid won't be able to take it, and either kill alot of people or commit suicide

Guess I'll be the first to say...

ROFL!!!

I don't see what you're all getting in a fuss about - they're just going to be filming something that happens all the bloody time. Sure it's low of the TV station to go to such an extent to gather ratings, but I bet a large majority of those against it are still going to be tuning in each week.

I think this was inevitable - but it's not like their making the prospective parents do a trivia night to literally "win" the baby. So perhaps we should all stop getting our knickers in a twist about something that really isn't that big of a deal. Reality TV isn't always some sort of gameshow.
