How much could I sell a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 for?

So yeah, more or less as it reads. I'm planning on getting a new graphics card (Far Cry will run smoothly on High on my specs but only just) and I'm looking to sell my 128 MB GeForce 4 Ti 4200 to offset the cost of something new... by the way what do you recommend (looking at a budget of maybe £130).

Don't sell it. I have the same card and am waiting for the next line of cards to come out so the price of current cards go down. Besides, that card still kicks ***.

Looking on Ebay, it looks like you'd get around £40-60 for it..

As for your budget, i recomend a Radeon 9800XT (Around £120).

Ive got the same card and farcry runs wonderfully with all settings on high at 1280x1024. Oddly enough my friend with a 9800 gets lower FPS than me... and he's got more ram and a faster CPU. But sometimes that happens with certain mixes of hardware from what i have seen. but i wouldnt buy one just yet. wait for these new nvidia ultra card things, and then maybe the ati one that will inevitabaly be competing with it at the time to chose.

Far Cry runs better on nVidia cards as that's what it was designed on and for. But don't worry, us ATi users have the advantage for HL2 [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]. A new GeForce4 Ti4200 goes for around $90 - $95. So I'd suggest you could sell a used for at the least $80.

In terms of a new card, the ATi 9800 Pro is your best bang for your buck right now. While the card below, a 9600 XT goes for $150 - $170, and a 9800 XT goes for $400, which is ridiculous.

Actually, ATi runs FC faster, and with better IQ.

ATi runs it faster in D3D, nVidia GF4 runs it faster in OGL, GFX just sucks. :P
