I saw the news post in the front page. Celebrate good times!

Just curious, is the site, if I read and understand correctly, going to "break away" from Recon Gamer completely soon? And any neat advantages for the server and site times ahead? Will this cost much money from Brian's wallet?

Server works great. Averaging ~200 kb/s on a 3 Mbps connection. Not bad, considering apt averages at ~60.

I went to massassi.org just to check it out. The layout is...the same. I thought we were to have a new one with a more modern site look. Maybe that will come with time?

Yeah, I just installed all the files onto [url]www.massassi.org[/url] as well. All the new scripts aren't finished yet, but they will come someday :) The ad and the dropdown is already removed from .ORG but most of the scripts won't work because there are no databases yet. I'm going to get that worked out on Monday I guess.

It was actually quite a bit easier to get all this running than I had feared. I had some problems getting SSI working due to sheer idiocy on my part, and getting the mail services up and running wasn't a cake-walk.

I'm glad you guys are getting fast times, mb was telling me that it seemed a lot slower for him :(

I never realized how much I hated that Recon Gamer add until I saw the site without it. I for one am happy to see Massassi taking a step in the right direction.

You can download a level multiple times without increasing the count. The count only increases if you load the page inbtween the level description and the actual file download.
