Well, I guess it's a good thing I'm right-brained. I didn't have much trouble reading the colour instead of the word. Actually it helps if you just concentrate on the first letter instead of the whole word; since you don't associate colours with letters, it's easaier to get the colour.

I can do that with complete ease at a very high speed..Some people's brains are just wired differentl I guess.

[edit]Just noticed your supposed to say the color not the word...ya now its harder.

I been doing these things for a while, it's not a problem for me anymore. Also, another option to beating it to unfocus your eyes so you can't read the word anyway, leaving a blurry bar of color.

Damn, that's a good idea. *tries it*. Yep, much faster. But would you believe that there are some people that can't unfocus their eyes on demand?

I did it without too much difficulty, but I spoke fairly deliberately. "Green. Red. Blue." etc. Not exactly what I'd call slowly, but I probably couldn't do it going really fast.

I went through the colour one really quickly with no problems. Trick is just not to read the word, and just look at it. I didn't have to blur my vision at all... just... not concentrate on reading very much.

That painting was a gift, Todd. I'm taking it with me.

I can't seem to get it to the point where it's unreadable without overlapping.

When I did it the first time, I had trouble for the first half, and then I got through the second half easily. For some reason though, when I got to the last one I was thrown off because I noticed that the word was orange but there was no orange in the picture.

That works too, but most people can't do that the first time, their brain won't let them.

Yeah, if you blur too much it can mix, you have to only focus slightly, and it's harder to hold it there, because it's so close to the focal point of the picture.
