Well I've just finished download firefox and my first impressions are pretty good, it loads quick, it looks simple and does the buisness. It's got a download manager, it all seems good. So what's the catch?

I just thought you should all know, and what are your fav browsers? (while I'm at it)

Only catch to speak of is that you need to download plugins for things like quicktime, flash, etc. But it's easily done.

I love me some Firefox :)

I like Opera a lot, it's snappier than firefox, but of course you have to pay for it. I recommend firefox to everyone, though, because most people don't want to pay for a web browser. I, on the other hand, make my living doing web program, so any tool that saves me a few minutes here and there is definitely worth a mere 30 bucks.

I've gone from Netscape to Explorer to Safari to Camino and now finally Firefox. It is the best out of all that I have tried, by far.

Firefox. You should also try Thunderbird for your email, and Sunbird as your calendar.

I've been using Firefox for a while now, and can safely say I love it. The only problem I've found is that if you have 70 or more items in the download manager, Firefox tends to freeze.

I use Firefox. I use IE and Opera only for testing pages. I dislike opera though. Not only for the clunky interface but also the lack of Ajax support.

We used Sunbird at work for a while, but it really SUCKS! It worked awesome when we first got it, and then after about a month of use, suddenly it had a hard time accepting new appointments, sometimes appointments wouldn't save, etc, etc. It just caused a heck of a lot of problems. It has the potential to be a great program, they just need to work out some more of the bugs.

I find Opera (v6) nicer than Firefox, but I don't like the banners, and the new versions of Opera don't *feel* quite right.

I'd probably pay the money after I graduate, it's not much.

Oh, if you find Opera's interface 'clunky' you can turn it all off.

*Shrug*
