It was 12792407, I hit refresh but a second later and it was 12792967 then 12793042 a second later.

Its not, its been linked to on the SA forums, and Fark, as well as lot of other sites. Those two sites alone are enough to drive up the hits by a considerable amount.

More than triple actually. $1,200x3 is $3,600 and he has $250 left on top of that. I have a book that I bought for $5, and another I got for $7, both are out of print and incredibly rare to find (especially the latter of the 2, printed in 1942). I could sell them and get about $75 each.
