I need to know what your favorite bike is. It's got to have enough reference shots for me to understand what everything is, it's got to have exact side references with large images associated with the bike. If you can't tell, I'm wanting to model a bike for my portfolio, and have no clue about bikes at all.

Ew, superbikes are horribly ugly.

I like choppers, myself. Plus those aren't exactly EASIER, as much as they are better to showcase. Anyone can make a smooth-shaded superbike that looks good, honestly. Few people can acheive the accuracy that an elaborate chopper demands, considering it's all open and not enclosed.

Try to stay with choppers, but if you've got an idea for a superbike that'd be a good showcase of modeling talent, go ahead and post it.

There's this girl at Georgia Tech, she parks this most beautiful BMW sports bike. I don't know the model, maybe Bobbert knows.

You know, with this site, I might actually be able to do that bike, Genks. If no one can find a better, or more model-appealing bike, this will be the one I do.

Any others?

Well, if your wanting to model a chopper just do your own design.

I've been thinking about modeling an occ style bike now for a while but I want to get some projects outta the way first.

I don't know half as much as I'd need to about bikes to do so (my own design). I WANTED to do the black widow bike, but the detial it's got is so fine that I'd need very close up shots at the perfect angles :-( I love OCC, though.

Uhg... I hate OCC.

People who have no appreciation for the beauty and accuracy that comes with such machines really suck.

Their bikes more than likely don't make it that far without serious problems.

Personally I think most of the OCC bikes are beautiful, especially the Black Widow, however I think I'm the only person in Scotland that watches the programme, apart from my dad...

I like superbikes way, way better. They're just so sweet. Can't really think of any nice choppers.
