Because Jessica Alba is a celebrity, plus she's hot. Perhaps the fact that she's "clean" (i.e., no nude/topless scenes) adds to the mystery/appeal.

In addition, her face is quite stunning. It's not just her body (though it in no way hurts).

She did do some nude/topless scenes, but a body double was used. I personally think it's really cool that she didn't take her top off like so many celebrities do.

Wolfy nailed it. She also has an amazing smile as well. I remember the first time I saw her in Idle Hands, I thought the same thing that I do now. That woman is gorgeous.
