Hi!
I'm wondering where can I find a Free Flash maker?
Reason for this is because I do not wish to spend, what, $500 for the full Macromedia studio box that I'm just gonna use not so often. I think I have googled, but things I've clicked on have taken me to the Macromedia homepage. Help me find something?

You might check some of the documentation on Newgrounds. I seem to remember seeing something about alternatives to Macromedia Flash there. Don't be surprised if you don't find anything though.

Flash movies can only be created with flash as far as I know

There are other programs that can create cartoons of the same sort. I'm not sure if they can use .swf format as I 've never used them, though.

There are many other applications for making Flash files, be it full animations or annoying web designs. None of them are as good as Macromedia Flash, which is counter intuitive to boot.

Unfortunately, there is no "free Flash".

My friend knew a guy that worked at Macromedia and hooked me up. That's how I got mine.

there are free 3d programs because 3d is just a general thing. Flash on the other hand is Macromedias creation, thats why there is no free version.
