I was on a ride with someone, and his cellphone fell out of his holder, and into his pocket.

I tie my shoes on tight and put everything in my pocket or backpack. That means I lose nothing.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Once on a stand-up type rollercoaster, the shoulder cushions moved and my feet weren't touching the bottom of the "wagon" anymore, right at the beginning of the ride. I almost **** myself. Scariest. Ride. EVAR.

I lost a hat once, but that was when I was in a canoe, and it tipped, and we all fell in the water. Not really a theme park ride. In fact, it couldn't be farther from a theme park ride. Oh! And this one time, my hat fell off while I was riding a horse. I got off and picked it back up though.

Hehehe, I've done that. When Six Flags Magic Mountain first built Riddler's Revenge, a lot of people liked to mess around with the restraints, testing the height. When I went there with a few friends, I did the same thing. As I was messing with it, the restraint locked in place with me on my tiptoes. It wasn't a comfortable ride.

Same here. We got caught in a swift current and ran into a low-hanging tree branch...

I also lost my spare AAA battery in a rental car last night... (for my mp3 player) Fortunately, turns out I didn't need it.

I also lost my wallet this past summer in a huge playground playplace thing in St Louis... fell out of my (velcro) pocket (damn wire cage pulled my pocket open  ). Thankfully, someone was kind enough to find me and return it :)

Yeah, not really theme park rides, but they're all at least halfway relevant...
May the mass times acceleration be with you.

My friend nearly lost his life when he was on the Screaming Eagle and the safety bar wouldn't stay down.

Never lost anything. I'm not stupid. Make sure everything in pockets are secure, watches on tight, glasses snug, and will hold on to the hat.
