I had a girl hit on me 2 days before prom weekend asking if I was doing anything. I turned her down coldly thinking she was someone else. I even knew her first name, well there are two Amandas. I thought she was one, didn't know there was another. I was looking through my yearbook today smiling until I came upon Amanda B. She looked strangely familiar.

Oh....shoot.

There is an Amanda C. I had French class with sophmore year, she was extremely rude and shallow.

I didn't know there was another Amanda.

A girl named Amanda B. came up and was going to ask me out, but I mistook her for the one I knew after not seeing her for a year's time.

I was fairly rude to a person that was not who I thought.

Yes, I'm sorry, and no I won't do it again. I was sick all of yesterday and now I think I probably deserved it.

Yea, I'm going to ask the office if they can deliever things to students and I'm going to buy her a card. I can't just tell her in class because I don't have class with her and I don't know how I'd find her in the halls in a school of 1500 people.

I'm assuming that Amanda B. and Amanda C. are twins seperated at birth since you couldn't tell the two apart. And it'd be better if you talked to her in person, cause a card is less effective.

I prefer relying on more than a first name when it comes to remembering people.

I'm just bad with names and faces is all. It's not like one was one of my friends who I talk to regularly. Anyways if it wasn't something stupid why would I want to avoid it in the future? Of course I was in the wrong.

I just thought I'd share it, if you don't like it shove off. There isn't much point to anything in this forum. You just post things because maybe you can get comments or help other people. Often you'd post mistakes to remind others not to do the same. Obviously you care or you'd ignore the thread and not waste your time flaming.

I can't find her, I took the recommendation that I should speak to her in person. I'm watching for her in the halls during passing period but our school has 1500 students and it is difficult to find her. It's only been 1 day though and she'll show up eventually. I bet I can find her before school Thursday because a lot of kids are sitting in the lunch room at tables they have set out for people.
