Case in Point:
Me - "In my experience, winamp is faster and easier to use than WMP"
microsoft fanboy - "OMG. NO. WMP HAS SO MANY MORE ABILITIES."!"
Me - "most of which I will never use to just listen to music."
microsoft fanboy - "BUT WINAMP DOESN'T HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHANGE THE SKIN!"
Me - "1. Yes it does. 2. I have it minimized anyway so I never see the skin. 3. Another feature that I will never use.
microsoft fanboy - "YOU ANTI-MICROSOFT NAZI"
Me - "No, I use windows, MS word, MSN messenger, and many other things that are *gasp* made by Microsoft"

The trick with internet trolls is to just ignore them. It's annoying; they make you want to reply and tell them how idiotic they are, but once you stop replying to them, they lose all power.

I've reported his post to the admins, hopefully something will be done. I like the Cakewalk forums because they are full of great people, all willing to share their experience and knowledge in the audio stuff. There usually isn't any trolling.

I'm still really pissed off about this guy, but I haven't thought of anything witty yet. :p

It's clearly obvious that you were right over there, but yet there is one thing I didn't understand. The guy posted a new thread and asked for info. You gave your piece of information, well articulated in a few posts. He refused to accept that info. And now comes the part I don't understand: Why did you post after that?

He was shooting himself in the foot. What use is it to try to put your hand between the bullet and his foot?

Exactly. You came up with it, I was just the first person to Photoshop a GOOD image of it.

Do a google image search for Mongeese or something similar... I think the original should show up within the first page or so of hits... If you even CARE.
