I remember a while ago, I had to do some subliminal message project in science, I just used flash, and sped the FPS up to 120, single frames were not noticable.

Does subliminal messaging by sending messages backwards actually work?
I mean, if you specifically play a song backwards to listen to the message then it ruins the while 'subliminal' bit and I'm sure not that good at understanding backwards talk.

Does the brain replay all sounds backwards before storing them or something? That would make no sense... but then again, the eyes do recieve all signals the other way round, and they are flipped upside down by the brain..

Erm, I think it's just a joke, Mort.
Like way-back-when, when all those touchy Christians used to claim that rock music, when played in reverse, were really messages from the Devil. Or something.
Real subliminal messages would be what they used to do in movie theater's, with throwing in single frames of Pop Corn and Coke just before intermission and the end of the film, to entice people to buy stuff from the snack bar.

There've been a couple of "psychologists" that believe not only does your brain pick up backmasked messages, but that it encodes them into your speech.
