This is what I get for being a nice person...

There were these two girls that I went to school with. They were in the special ed program at school, for what I don't know. However, it's easy to tell neither of them function that great and that they have screws loose.

Now, I'm always incredibly nice to the special ed kids, because I know what it's like. I'm dyslexic, and sometimes I wish people were nicer to me when I was in special ed.

However, they both seem to have the idea in their head, that I'm sweet on them... No.. No No No No No No.

They stalk me, CONSTANTLY. I work at the local K-mart, somehow they know or someone told them my work schedule. So every damn day I work, they come in and stalk me. If I tell them I'm busy and can't talk, they sit and wait at the Cafe for me to go on my break.

I don't just wanna tell them to go away, because I don't want to hurt their feelings.. But at the same time.. I REALLY wish they'd screw off...

So, what should I do?

Tell them, "I'm sorry if I gave the wrong idea, but I'm not interested in dating either of you. I was simply being friendly."

What do you mean by "special ed"? Special education can be anything from a moderate disability to something very mild and light, the way some kids have trouble with math or writing. I know a totally brilliant guy that's not so bright in math and has trouble keeping his GPA up (like a 3.0ish or a little under), but he's one of the most brilliant people I know.

My point is that maybe they're not as "special" as you think, and are treating them "too" nicely.

Paying EXTRA attention to a human being isn't a good thing, either. Unless you've got a reason to where they're attractive, you're interested in them, or you'd just like to make friends, don't get to friendly. I think you brought it on yourself, personally. Instead of telling them to sod off, just weed out your extra niceness and treat them like any ole person at your store. They'll slowly get the idea, and if they didn't, tell them you can't talk at work, and you'll get in trouble if you do. They also don't want them loitering just for you, unless they're customers or whatnot. Something like that to give them a subtle message. I still say: DON'T LET ON!

They probably watched you and figured out your schedule. (Which is probably scarier.) I did that when I was younger with guys I like. It's a thrill or something.

But really, I agree with what Wolfy said. Be nice, but you have to make sure they know. Subtle hints will probably be lost on them...

No, my schedule is different every week.

They have a seperate program for people who don't have a disability in most Highschools now, called "Assisted Learning." Note, that due to the No Child Left Behind Bs, THAT IT IS NOT SPECIAL ed. Special ed is beung phased out anyways. :(

I hate it when it's assumed that because you're nice you're coming on to a girl, or that you must be after something.

I must admit I don't think I've ever been stalked though.

Hurt their feelings and get it over with already.

You're probably just hurting them more by dragging them along like this.

I'm nice to practically everyone.

Needless to say, there's been a lot of fat chicks that want me.

Yeah, niceness does sometimes have a curse that goes with it, and it usually involves sweet spirited girls that want me. There are a couple of them that I go to church with, and I'm nice to everyone, but suffering a bit in this area because of it.

Oh, and being fat isn't necessarily the problem. I have nothing against weight whatsoever. I more just have a problem with the personality that these girls have.

Maybe 'fat' was the wrong word. I'd post a picture of the most recent one, but I don't want to frighten any small children who may read this.

This is the pertinent question.

I assume that they are, however, not in the general realm one would designate as "attractive", and instead would simply refer to as "fugly".

I'm really quiet and every girl that has hit on me so far has been extremely hot.

The first one I bumbled and forgot her name because looking at her put me in a state of fear and shock.

The second I panicked and rejected.

I'll get it the third time, I will, or maybe I'll ask someone out. Hmm...

Anyways I say you just tell them you aren't interested in dating. Honestly is always good, within limits...yea...limits.

Your reaction would normally depend on whether they are fit/attractive, as shallow as that may seem.

However, i'm considered the nice cute guy by loads of women, so why have I never been stalked? I'm obviously not good enough :(

Probably because you're not average enough to be considered "within reach" of less-average "stalking" girls.

Good lord, I know what that feels like.

I had a psycho girl stalk me several years back. She got a job where I worked, kept sending me suggestive emails, etc. Then out of the blue, one of my best mates kept asking me on MSN what I thought of her. I told him that I thought she was a bloody weirdo and wished she would just piss off and leave me alone. Next day I found out he was going out with her, which was weird as I didn't know whether to be relived (as she may have found someone else) or petrified (as she may very well be taking stalking to the next level). What confirmed my fears was that a few weeks later I found out it was actually her on MSN at my mate's computer. She finally got the hint two months later and dumped my mate for some fifty-year old bloke.

Never been stalked before. The only thing I have is this strange and somewhat unattractive girl who just kinda stares at me from the corner when I'm around her.
DO NOT WANT.

FYI, the servers were down for ~6 hours today, that explains everything :D (gogo honor system!)

But yeah, I hate stalkers. They're always ****ed up people.

the last time I got stalked by a girl was when I was five (in the year I turned six as my BD as at the end of the year). btw, she was the same age as me so the was no problem, just the usual boys vs. girls type thing that happens when people are little.
