Even though I had a breif stint in clan leadership years ago, I've always thought they were lame.

From the wannabe cool orientalness that the word "clan" screams, right down to the elitism and stupid name "tags."

They have a point in CAL and CPL. But they're just stupid for the most part, as almost none of them go to any competition whatsoever.
