Mister_Sinister, it's because doing what you just did is about 1 step away from being against the rules, and it's really annoying.

I really cant wait for this game, the first was amazing. Awesome story and great graphics.

Well, Mister_Sinister, Freelancer, whom can be an *** hat from time to time, was actually being pretty civil. As far as I'm concerned, you blowing up like you did showed more of your character then the guys who told you to knock it off. You handled your part a bit more imaturely then the rest of them, hence the continuing insults. (just a thought.)And your whole "Old Newz" post isn't entirely old news. I've never seen this particular picture, which I'm kinda impressed with, but maybe it could use some darker colors. Other then that, I can't wait.

This game will be great.. I know it. The screenshots that are out dont look very good, because they are currently using models and armor and weapons from the old game

loved the original, definatly going to buy this, they have said that they are updating the graphics, adding a few new force powers, battle mediation being one of them, can't remember the others....

guess what tactic they are using as well to enable you to build up your character.....he/she has somehow forgotten all their force powers after five years and needs to build them back up.....sound familiar to another lucasarts game.... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/rolleyes.gif] ....still there isn't any other way that easily comes to mind.

and stay on topic guys, no more mention of any bickering please!!! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/mad.gif]

Obsidian are mostly made up of ex-Black Isle employees:

Fallout
Fallout 2
Planescape: Torment

Best CRPGs ever, ring any bells?

Oh, and as for sequels rarely being as good as the original? Baldurs Gate 2.

Souds as though the main character is KOTOR:SL is going to be an entirely new character. Makes you wonder: perhaps the nemesis for this game is the main character from the last one... (don't forget: you were supposedly able to go through both a dark storyline and light storyline. i honestly havn't played it, as i have neither an Xbox nor a pc capible of running it)

ANYWAY, i'm only mildly interested in this game. the first one didnt have much role playing in it (not sure if it was supposed to, but thats what i expected). this wouldnt be so bad, except it seemed that it SHOULD have been an RPG. it seemed like they were headed in that direction and caught a sudden case of ADD. i really hope there is more of a role playing element to the sequel.

I hope they make you determine your side by actions, not by script like they did in JK. Also, I don't think becoming evil shouldn't be so overt this time around. Normally evil is seen as "I will take over the galaxy, muhahahaha!". I want to see some old fashioned "I want to be rich by stealing" or "Screw you, I'm leaving you here to your death" kind of evil.

Anyway, BACK ON TOPIC [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif].... I don't think this will be as good storywise as the original either. I might buy it anyway just for the fact its KOTOR 2 and probably a bit better gameplay wise. We'll see what happens when more info leaks out.
