For all those who'd rather feed their newborn child to a pack of flesh eating gorillas then use a piece of MS software, you'll love this story!

A long read, but very entertaining. I can't believe all the shady tactics lawyers use these days. I'm glad this kid fought back, and won.

Well, won in the sense of drew after a lot of paper was passed.

Interesting read, and it certainly seems to highlight paranoia of major companies.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Zamos says he'll still use the company's software. He has no choice. "I have to, since they practically own the universe."

No, he has a choice, he just doesnt realize it yet... ;)

yes, we all know where you are going with this.

i've tried Linux on multiple occasions, and I always have to go back to windows. The problem is that support for games is still in its primordial stage, and Linux still lacks a GOOD emulator for win32 apps. (Yes, i know about Wine, but try running photoshop or premiere with wine and see what happens)

I hate when lawyers or officials try to bully people and make their case out to be bulletproof when they know it's pure crap.
