So, some of you may have read the article on SomethingAwful about a guy who dated a girl who was part of the Rocky Horror Picture Show cast. Yeah, I'm one of those people.

So I find out tonight that some dipwad ***** brought two of her kids with her to the show and was horribly offended by "implied sexual acts" in the movie - specifically the red room and blue room scenes (if any of you are familiar with the movie).

So the cast has two options: remove the scenes, or find another theater. The manager won't enforce an NC-17 policy.

People like that woman are the reason we have waiting periods on guns.

Um...the opening lyrics should have given her an idea. But yeah...I'd blame the manager more for not backing you guys up and making it NC-17. (But that woman still remains stupid...)

She brought her kids too that?!? How old were they?
I hate it when parent bring their little kids to violent/scary movies because they're to lazy to get a baby sitter. The kids don't know the difference between that and reality! Parents like that should be shot.

Well, see...you can't really just cover the person's eyes, because there's a lot of vocal audience participation which makes it a very rated-R experience.

Someone just boarded the one-way express to BANLAND. [Edit: Hmm appears the train left the platform without him... barely.]

And these are the kinds of people in our society that the courts bend over backwards for. If you're stupid enough to brings your kids to something like that, you just lost all rights to complain, and ought to be fined if you start *****ing.

Why why why would any parent take her kids to see the Rocky Horrow Show? Have they no clue? Bah.

And why why why didn't the manager(theatre owner?) realise the implications of the show?

If they knew you were performing Rocky Horror, and some dizzy woman complains it wasn't suitable for her children, the people in charge should've givien her a cookie and said 'no **** sherlock' and told her to leave her kids at home next time. And now she's ruining the show for everyone else, because she was too stupid to ask what kind fo show she was going to (and frankly everyone should at least know that RH is not for kids). Did she not see the queues full of adults without children before the show started? Could she not have left after 2 minutes of the crowd shouting (Slut! At least that's they shout in UK theatres), and politley explained she didn't know what she was getting her kids into, politely asked for her money back, wherupon the theatre would kindly offer her a refund and wish her well.

Where are the manners?! If she'd had the balls to stand up and say, 'I didn't know this very popular show was rude, do you mind if i take my children home?' then everything would've been fine. Stupid stupid pigheaded people who feel they have to complain and ruin things for everyine else WHO HAS A BRAIN.

Gah.

I hate stupid people.

Not to go off topic too much, but I feel it necessary to share my rocky horror experience. I went to a production while I was in college. My girlfriend at the time dragged me because her friend was in it. Every male in the play was gay (surprise, surprise!), and the audience was terribly empty. Terribly. So much so that I was the ONLY male in the entire audience. Oh how the actors singled me out. Frankenfurter scarred me for life.

Ah. Well, on a good night, we typically get about 50 people in the audience. The greater majority of the males in our cast are straight, and on a bad night, we have about 20 people in the audience.
