So, I just got my PocketPC, and browsing the internet on it is great and all, but the Massassi forums look terrible on it. Is it at all possible to make a palm version of Massassi, so like without the images, sigs, stuff under your name, and having the name above the post (no columns), and replacing the buttons with text links.
That'd make browsing Massassi on a PDA so much better.

Wasn't meant to be rude, btw, I'm just sarcastic like that.
I thought about a custom CSS for massassi, but VB seems to just parse the colors into the html which makes that impossible. Is there a way to make massassi use a CSS so that custom layouts/colors are possible?

Yeah, PocketPC-friendly Massassi would be a very good thing. Wasting time on campus would be that much sweeter.

Something like that, just a lot smaller. Small enough to fit decently on a PDA screen.

I think ya'll just need to get better browsers.

The PSP displays Massassi just fine :p (Although the frames don't work on the main page, but who uses the main page?)

Because I don't just need it text-only, I need it redesigned so it doesn't have columns and stuff.

Lots of sites have 'palm' versions, like [url]www.google.com/palm[/url] or http://pda.en.wapedia.org

wouldent a good design for a palm or cell phone massassi forum screne be:
black and green colors alternating
thread titles shown and nothine elce

inside the thread a good format would be:
black and green colors alternating per post
name of person who wrote
their message

It's possible, but it would probably have to be custom coded into the forums. When designing web pages for cell phones and other portable hand held devices, you can't just use a different style sheet, you have to use different tags as well. It would probably only be worth the effort if a significant number of our community browed the forums on hand held devices.

What's the bright color scheme for?

PDAs and cell phones can do 32-bit color now. And a lot of them are 480x640 so the screens aren't even that small.

Because sometimes people have this thing called "free time". For example, sometimes I have an hour or two between some classes. Now, I could go home to get online but as soon as I got home I'd have to leave. How much easier would it be to simply use the Pocket PC that I bought with the wireless network provided by the school to kill some time instead of staring at a wall?
