Well I saw the new Dr. Who for the first time tonight, I rather enjoyed it and for some reason felt sorry for the Dalek. I'm not a big Dr. who fan but hey, at least I know what the wee ball things on the bottom of the armour are for. Still, what do you think of the new Dr.Who?

I think the new series is pretty good.

At least they've actually done some works on the effects this time around :p

I diddnt mind some of the old series. The daleks always looked pretty cool, but a lot of the monsters in the old series looked so tacky.

Not much of a Dr. Who fan, so I haven't watched the new series. I don't really know why I clicked this thread in the first place :confused:

BBC, didn't know if it was being shown over the other side of the pond. It has christopher Eccleson and Billie Piper. Rather good like I said.

They have a new Dr. Who show? o_O Hopefully they won't ruin it like they've ruined Battlestar Galactica. :(

The pilate was pretty crappy, with the return of those living mannequins (from a previous series, though maybe in a different guise)

I missed the second episode, but the third was ok. The Dalek one was pretty cool, but a bit soppy towards the end. I swear they got the idea for the death sequence from the Mercurius Gundam.

I love the new series. It's meant to be a bit crappy, because if it were all singing all dancing, the die hard fans would throw an utter hissy fit. Ecclestone's done a great job with the Doctor if you ask me. The next series will have that tall fella playing Cassanova on BBC3 as the Doctor.

Oh, and the Dalek was very cool.
