This may have been posted a long time ago, but I just ran into these:

<http://www.supershadow.com/starwars/episode7/plot.html>

<http://www.supershadow.com/starwars/episode8/plot.html>

<http://www.supershadow.com/starwars/episode9/plot.html>

I wonder if they'll ever get made. I know Lucas said that he wasnt going to.
2005-05-03, 1:23 PM #2
It's in his financial interest to continue making these things until his death while claiming that he will make no more of them. This gives the current product a sense of immediacy and allows the consumer to participate in "the last in a series." Seeing the last movie appeals to consumers for the same reason a lot of people want to believe the apocolypse is near. Around the year 100 AD there was a lot of hype about the world ending. And around the year 1000 there was a lot of hype as well. In 2000, with the absence of a single belief system, we had the Y2K crap, where people of all beliefs could join in and feel special that this was the end of a long sequence of events. You know what? It didn't happen in any of those cases, but everyone got to feel special. Now advertisers have figured out how to market this feeling.

In short, I think they'll get made. Lucas lies about this to make the current product more appealing.

Those plots are completely retarded. I'm glad they'll never be made.

LOL. Supershadow.com is by far the worst, most retarded, and fake website on the planet. Don't worry, it's all fake.

I still reccomend visiting it, though. It's really funny if you've read the real Episode 3 screenplay.

Actually the site has something like 3 Episode 3 scripts on it... And two of them are fake as hell. The third one came out when you could buy the screenplay at a bookstore.

Wasn't there a hopeless online petition to close down that site? I would like to see it again. It has the greatest collection of whiny people.

That's all fake. If any of you watched the news with Lucas on it one night, he specifically stated that there was gonna be no more Star Wars movies after Episode 3. "He'll get out his thoughts, by other means."

My theory: more cartoons.

My god those plots are badly written.

Oh and, if it's set 30 years after Rotj, shouldn't the Vong be invading?
nope.
2005-05-03, 2:09 PM #13
the vong invasion was 20 years after ANH, 30 years after RotJ would be like, 15 years after the vong invasion
Moo.

Since when does the EU affect anything GL does?

And no. The Vong wouldn't be invading, because the Vong is a huge lump of horse smeg.

I refuse to acknowledge their existence. One more superinvincible enemy that end up developing a weakness only AFTER they've killed off Chewbacca. (No Forgiveness)

Yeah, Coruscant was an EU planet. George Lucas had the concept of a similar planet for as the capital of the Empire, but it was Timothy Zahn who really created Coruscant and made it wat it is, including giving it the name "Coruscant."

Not to mention that Episode III includes the Juggernauts (EU predecessor to the AT-ATs) and an EU character.

Also, George Lucas wrote the forward to one of the EU novels (Splinter of the Mind's Eye).

So by your logic Obi-Wan should still be Owen's brother.

And the Stormtroopers are purely recruits.

The EU has no effect whatsoever on the OT, just things he decides to include, like Coruscant.

Jedigreedo, the Stormtroopers in the OT have the same voices on the DVD edition, while Boba Fett is voiced by the Jango Fett guy. Thus the Stormtroopers are still recruits.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

You just contradicted yourself. If he decides to include things from the EU in his movies, then obviously the EU has an effect on them.
Moo.

And how many video games and EU books have been written with those plots? Bespin's a Jedi training facility? Oooh...original! Man that's freaky.

That would be nice if he actually decided to make Episodes 7, 8 and 9, even though Lucas has been claiming that he'll have no part of it. Like Masq said, it would be in his financial interest to continue making movies, but he wouldn't have to, considering all the money he's already made, along with upcoming books, games, toys, and all the other SW merch to provide him with revenue.

What he means is that what happened in the EU doesn't necessarily relate to the movies in any way. Just because there are certain elements he took doesn't mean it relates to the EU in terms of plot etc.

Hasn't it been officially acknowledged that Zahn's Dark Force Rising series are Episode 7,8, and 9, or am I confused?

I always found it amusing that people get so enraged about SuperShadow's site. I think some of the things he's lied about are downright hilarious. He must be in a very sad position to take the time to manage a site like that, I feel sorry for the poor little wanker.

Completely confused. That's only wishful thinking from the fans.

However, heer Lucas has mentioned in an interview once that the closest thing to this vision for episode 7-8-9 would be the Dark Empire series.

Edit: In response to smock's post, of course.
The answer is maybe.
2005-05-04, 4:27 AM #30
Isn't Dark Empire where the Emperor gets cloned or something? GL really is slipping then...

Well, Palpy, or El Clono as some call him, has been cloned there, aye. But Lukey-boy also turns to the Dark Side, mayor assaults all around, Republic driven to its knees, Leia is all heroic, new smugglers all around, Nar Shaddaa, superweapons ho, bla-bla.

Of course, I think that heer GL is more referring to the general storyline. Originally, El Clono wasn't meant to be killed in ROTJ to begin with, so in his original vision, Palpy wouldn't have been killed to begin with. At least, that's how I take it that he meant it.

And to be honest, I ne'er had a complete problem with Palpy cloned. I mean, I do kinda view him as the ultimate bad buy for the SW storylines. Surely only he would have a way to cheat and escape death.
The answer is maybe.

His kids already wrote most of the prequels--I'm sure he's raising them to take up the torch, so to speak, when he kicks it.
