The Star Craft map editor was very easy to use, and you can turn out maps in no time at all.

Yeah even I could make maps in Starcraft [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Maybe I'll start trying in REAL games like JA and JO..... *opens tutorials*

Making maps takes a long time, making maps is hard,
That's why making maps is fun.

He asked for the best game in the world. NWN certainly would not be in the running.

best game in the world? Earth Bound...

But if you want to make maps... JK :DF2 comes to mind, Jed isn't that hard to learn and it can be pretty fun, and has a plus its not that hard to find help around here for it..

The Operation Flashpoint editor makes Jed look like the product of NASA

easiest ones I've ever seen are Warcraft 2, Starcraft, Red Alert, Operation Flashpoint

All of them are built in. Most bizarre editor I ever saw was the SDK for MW2:Mercs. You kind of made a list of all the funny little things you wanted compiled, licked your elbow, spat coke in your floppy-drive and hoped for the best.

He asked for the best game in the world "where I can create maps easily". As much as I have been critical of NWN in the past, the editor is very easy to use and still offers many advanced features (for both scripting and custom content). The community (at leas the editing part of it) also kicks *** , with great forums (the official Bioware ones) and sites (such as http://nwvault.ign.com/index2.shtml).

Far Cry's editor is also pretty simple.

Then again, the easiest editors come with real-time strategy games (such as StarCraft and Age of Empires) but they are rather limited.

I made some AvP based broodwar maps after seeing screenies of some unreleased ones. They even had working motion detectors (made noise, put blips on your map, etc). It was the first editing project I was ever proud of.

janitor bobs idea of rogers video: He's actually the overweight guy next door who has a HUGE selection of videos, including the entire Lethal Weapon, Halloween, and 'Ernest' series.
The advantage is is that you can 'borrow' movies for long amounts of time without him remembering that you borrowed them.

The disadvantage is the pizza cheese grime on the DVDs

Duke Nukem 3D... BUILD is the BEST EDITOR EVER to learn on if you've never edited before. It's so easy and gives you great skills you'll learn to use more later, like CLEAVING. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]
