So I've been working for my dad for four years, but now I finally got my first REAL job at a Subway. Not to mention my friend makes the schedules and works there.

I worked at Subway once for 20 minutes.

The Subway in my town shares a building with a convenience store (which is where I worked). One day during the noon-hour lunch rush, the only person working at the Subway (a friend of mine) sliced open her thumb while cutting the sandwich in two. My boss came out of the office and took my place in the store, while I went and worked the counter at the Subway, with my friend paging her boss (not there on weekends) and telling me what to do.

After her boss got there, I headed back to the store, and one of the kids that I made a sandwich for told me I did a good job. I thought that was cool, until I realised he was probably laughing at me. Son-of-a-*****.

Congrats on the job! Tips are good there.

No, Jimmy John's subs are better than any other subs in the world. I was going to work for them, but the wages weren't worth it. It was minimum + 5% of what I take in, but I'm would have been a driver, so I would have ended up spending half of it on gas.

I work at my school IT Dept. for my summber job. 8.50 (might be 8.75 this summer) an hour, roughly 40 hours a week. Not to mention usually an hour of paid lunch break (since our boss comes down to play basketball with me and friend).

2 footlong chicken bacon ranches for $8.99 on Sunday = oh what a wonderful Sunday.

Its really too bad they stopped using those stamps for free sandwiches. I was making a killing off of those on ebay.
