So since I can't do a Lan party this weekend due to Mother's Day, a few friends plus myself decided to go on a random roadtrip around town today. This included, but was not limited to, stops at Best Buy, Media Play, Target, WalMart, GameStop, and two comic book stores.

This is where I get to the point of my story.

Since seeing Sin City back in April and discovering that there were actually FIGURES being made, I've been on the look-out for a Marv Figure. Today, I got DAMNED lucky in one of the comic book stores. Back in a corner, they had about 4 copies of each figure released, but only TWO Marvs. One in full color, and one in black and white.

I was INSTANTLY filled with happiness. So much so, that I litterally went, "OH MY GOD! THEY HAVE MARV!" which was actually rather embarrassing.

To wrap things up, I decided a spur of the moment purchase was in order, and 10 minutes and 15 dollars later, I was the proud owner of the black and white Marv.

And now for some rather crappy pictures curtesy of my bad USB camera.

Everyone thinks I was crazy to actually take him OUT of the packaging, but the hell with them. For one, the packaging was already not in "perfect" condition. For two, if I want another one to keep in mint condition, I know where to go. ;)

Oh, and since my pictures suck, here's a far better promotional one.

So... My day was awesome.

Lets make this more legit... Post your recent spur of the moment must have purchases.

Is that the 18 inch tall version, or the smaller one? Looks pretty big, but I'll be damned suprised if you got the 18 inch tall figure for $15.

Nah, he's the smaller one. About 7.5 inches or so. I'd KILL for the 18 inch one, but I'd really have no place to put him.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I actually just bought The Hard Goodbye last night. I also bought The Essential Clash (40 tracks and only 15 bucks!), Bad Religion-No Substance, and Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains-The Big Eyeball in the Sky.

ID Wallet w/ Money Clip (Means the ID window is on the outside) Its about 3 times thinner then my old wallet. I love it.

Leather Jacket Isn't the exact one, mine was only $74.99, but same style.

Got this all all at King of Prussia mall last thursday. Didn't actually pay for my jacket, that's what parents are for :p. But the other two were my own.

Sadly, I only had enough cash on me for Marv and lunch. That store had ALOT of stuff I wanted there. Marv was just on the top of that list.
