I like mine - for a while i tried to remember when i put it there...
I actually liked it - the Rodney Dangerfield / Mrs Poole bit was just inspired - albeit he lost control of it long before the end.
Indictment was brilliant (other than James Woods inevitable overacting), its Platoon and Wall Street that really brought me down, their stories were just garbage. Well filmed, yes, well acted, well shot, technically marvellous, sure, but the stories of "idealistic white boy finds conscious and battles evil boss" were utterly puerile.
And of course the less said about JFK the better.
I haven't seen Alexander yet (waiting for it on rental, like everyone else) but lets face it - it takes a REALLY great director to hold an audience for 3 hours. Many aspire to it, very few <cough>Peter Jackson<cough> achieve it.
