What web browser do you use? I'm just curious, because, as most of us on this site have to be (please dont flame me for this) -gulp- geeks, I would think that you would have enough sense not to use IE, but switch to something safer, like Netscape of Firefox.

I personally cant stand IE, It's unstable, leaves you prone to immense hacking, and (not a lie) my dad won't let me use it for those reasons. I use Firefox and I love it! Please comment on this.

[EDIT] Sensible comments please

I use Firefox, and IE whenever there's something that Firefox isn't compatible with (like quicktime files).

I use Firefox unless there is something that's not compatable and requires IE. I normally don't have problems with Quicktime movies.

If you install QuickTime or QuickTime alternative, any Mozilla browser will play any files that QuickTime can.

Does anyone know why it is impossible to uninstall IE? Isn't it illegal or something to not be able to unistall it?

Doubtful.

I always griped about IE, but hated the bloat of mozilla. I just got a chance to change.

But whatever.

Agreed. Firefox and IE are very much similar.

Though FF has a few nice features that IE doesn't, like tabbed browsing and also better security ratings, which is why I pretty much abandoned IE.
May the mass times acceleration be with you.

I almost exclusively use Firefox on a Linux system. Which can sometimes suck, as I can't get streaming video. The mozilla-mplayer plugin doesn't always work right.
