Heh, just thought I start on of the "versus" debates that always seems to be interesting.

As for me... not sure who would win. Not sure if the terminaters would care to be plugged into the matrix unless that filled the matrix world with millions of John Conners.

Skynet would win hands down.... if they had a tough time winning, all they would have to do is go back in time and stop the machine city from happening.

Skynet would be a part of the Matrix. The Skynet machines would have no idea that they were a part of the Matrix so therefore the Matrix is the winner.

Skynet's abilities bordered on shear ridiculousness. They would beat the living crap out of the Matrix.

Then again the matrix machines managed to enslave millions, and force the rest underground...but that was probably on because of it all occuring in the future.

Basically Skynet's best weapons were tangible, where the Matrix's were virtual.

I think the better question would be, The Matrix Machines (squiddies, squid bomb things, and that spikey headed big machine that plugged in Neo to fight Smith), vs. Skynet Machines (Terminators, Hunter Killers, and whatever those flying things were called.
