Mikus and I both have lowbie alts on Nathrezim. I wouldn't leave my guild on Sargeras though

They just need to allow damn character transfers. What's the big deal? Just shut down a realm if everyone leaves it or make a new one where people can go if one gets full. I have friends (just like you guys) spread out all across servers who want to play together but we all have level 30+'s and dont want to restart.

What they should do is charge a 100g fee for whoever wants to move, and can only be done once per month per character. That would be good.

They do have character transfers available to set servers, only from high populations to low populations though. I know they had to recently shut transfers down, but they could be back up, I am not certain.

Hey it's good and bad. Bad because you cant do many raids or instances at night, but good because you can wander into the area at STV 10 minutes past the hour and snag the chest.

That all depends. Elemental is mainly geared toward rogues because the items that you can make with it increase the percentage which you can get a critical strike. Since my character is a rogue, I figured it was the likely choice to go with.

FFXI doesn't have server selection at all, except for world passes. I think FFXI should implement the same system they use on character creation for character transfers:

Basically, this is how it works now:

You begin making your character. Your friend is on Fenrir, and you want to play on his server. Now, you could try the luck of the draw, which is hard as hell, especially if he is on a populated server, or he can buy you a world pass.

World passes have no set price, but vary depending on the population of the server you are buying the pass for. The higher the population, the more gil it costs.

It would allow anyone to still change, but would make them think twice before doing so.
