Most realistic sport video game graphics yet....

Holy crap.
What makes it so realistic in my opinion is the animation.

Jesus.... I'm watching it over and over... and I just can't spot a flaw... it looks real...

The only unreal thing is the player's skin, and the specular jersey. These things could be fixed, even I know a rendering method that'd look a tad better.

I've got a feeling that's motion capture stuff, not gameplay.

Looks like a 3d person on a real background
Think while it's still legal.

The face doesn't look right. Neither does the skin.

Of course I'll feel like a fool if this ends up being real video, but still...

It's obviously not a real (life) video, look at the rim and the backboard whenever the player dunks .. the rim doesn't even move -- it's especially visible in the third scene.

Yeah, I just noticed that. The rim doesn't move at all.

The animation of the player is great, and it's pretty obvious that's what the clip is showcasing. Impressive.

Damn... Thats the most realistic character/model ever created in a game, ever.

Not graphically.

The animations are icredible though! Look at the way his clothes move.

i thought it was awsome, until the slo-mo part. The rippling clothes just felt like they were trying to hard.

I think you'd need a PPU to do clothing real time. Does the Xbox have a PPU?

I don't think so.

You don't need one, it just helps relieve the CPU of having to calculate in-game physics. Since the new Xbox has 3 3.2Ghz Xeons, clothing rendering/other physics calculations may not be as big of a performance hit then with just one CPU.

They're not Xeons, they're 3 3.6 ghz 64-bit PowerPC processors from IBM.

Think about it. For most sports games, you're not going to have a whole lot of polys devoted to the environment, so they can concentrate more on physiscs, animation, and gameplay.
