The screen's actually the same size as a GBA screen. Pretty cool IMO :D

I'm just hoping this means the SP will drop in price. Micro is nice, but it's similar to when the GB pocket came out -- the only other Game Boy I don't have (well, right now it also includes the SP).

I think it's stupid.

It's just a GBA. And it looks like it won't support the Gamecube link cable which is the only reason why I would ever consider buying one.

I'd much rather they soop up the DS instead, GBA SP is small enough for most people. Besides, who would want to buy something that only plays GBA games, where they could buy a DS and still play GBA games, and games that look so much better?

If you already own a Game Boy (advance or advance sp) then this is the biggest waste of money for you, if you decide to buy it.

The stupid DS won't play my old GB and GBC games, so it's worthless to me.

it's supposed to be just a smidge smaller than an ipod mini.
I'll maybe buy one since my sp was stolen, and I've been meaning to replace it.
It's also been confirmed that you can purchase a link-cable dongle allowing it to use link-cables. I'm assuming this means it will be compatible with the GCN link cable, thereby making the the best controller for FF:CC ever!

It is my opinion that this is very stupid. Just like the GBA SP was.

No, the GBA SP was smart in the sense that it give you a screen you could actually see. It was also painfully stupid because it didn't have a headphone connector. In order to use headphones you had to buy a special connector, but because of the way the connector was designed you couldn't hook it up to another Gameboy, the wireless adapter, a Gamecube, the AC adapter or the headphones at the same time.

Worthless article. Apparently what's important in a portable game system isn't its capabilities or selection of games/media anymore, but whether it makes you look cool. Honestly, who are you trying to look cool for, that a new game boy design would actually do the trick?

"Check out this two inch screen, baby! Come on, you know size doesn't matter. Lithium, baby. Backlit."

??? FFS. Makes me want to use my old brick sized gameboy to beat some sense into these gamers gone astray.

This is useless?

WHY?

Because it doesn't have a freaking clamshell design.

I won't by another handheld that doesn't clamshell.

Why?

Because, damned if it doesn't keep the screen from getting screwed up over time.
