Which is wrong. Hyenas are the most successful hunters on the savannah. In fact, they have a 90% success rate (far above the ~60% of lions and ~30% of cheetah) in bringing down their prey. But since they're small in comparision, lions drive them away and claim the prey as their own.
Lions are the bullies of the savannah. Due to their strength in both size and numbers, they nick most of their food from cheetah, hyenas, wild dogs and the unfortunate leopard who do not manage to hide their food in the trees where they dwell.

Indeed, a 90% succes rate when they hunt, but they rarely ever hunt themselves.

Lions (as most big cats) have horrible success rates, a group of lions only have around a 30% success rate.

But yes, hyenas and wild dogs tend to be very successful while hunting.
