Are there any converters for this (other than Premiere)? I've tried TMPEGEnc but it doesn't like the quicktime movies.

If you are just trying to avoid using quicktime, I recommend Quicktime alternative (there is a real player one too). It installed codecs which allow .mov files to be played in the direct show program of your choice.

I haven't used VirtualDub in quite a while, but the author may have put .mov support in.

What do you have against premiere? It would probably do it.


If you need it just once, you could download the demo from adobe and use it just this once....

Edit: This will convert from .mov to .avi - you can use other readily available software to convert then .mpg
