Check out this article: http://movies.msn.com/news/article.aspx?news=191342

I personally haven't seen the movie yet, and yeah, the prequels haven't really been as captivating as the original trilogy... Still, only 2.5 stars?? Doesn't seem right, Lucas' writing hasn't ever seemed that great, but it doesn't mean that it should bring down the movie.
Anyways, anyone here who's seen it, could you tell me if this review completely accurate? Cuz I've been waiting for this one for years!

P.S. I really don't think I'm a "fanboy", but I just figure that you guys might no better then someone else :D

This might be a little more acurate.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

A review that starts off with that political BS doesn't hold any water to me. It's people looking for something to whine about reading way too into things. Just like the "OMG Jar Jar is a sterotypical black man" or "Clone Troopers are Mexicans" crap with the last two.

I personally liked it. Best of the three by far. Had its crappy moments like Palpatine's silly dialogue after killing Mace Windu , but overall it wasn't bad.

The whole turn of the clones on the Jedi sequence was just damn awesome.

I think this is the best review and overall take on the Star Wars movies I've seen lately.

i expected the jedi to put up more of a fight when order 66 went out... sure they caught them off guard... but their jedi, don't they have some way to sence the death of the other jedi, the disturbances in the force, the ominous feeling of a gun trained on their back.... out of the jedi we say die, only a few managed to put up a fight.

That's ridiculous. Lucas has already said that the sw story was somewhat based off of the democracy->fascist & communist totalitarian governments of the early 1900s (that means stalin, hitler, mussolini) .. quite clearly palpatine's slow rise to power is closely parallel to what hitler and mussolini did, and one of the main ideals of totalitarianism (esp. with stalin) was "I am the state," etc etc.

Did Lucas write this one himself?

That would explain why it's as good as ANH.

That might be pushing it. I'm curious if anyone read the review I linked to above. I found it interesting that the author pointed out that the movies most consider to be the best (ANH and ESB) are the two Lucas had the least amount of control over.

Padme is the traditional backdoor whore!

But seriously, why hasn't anybody in the Republic Senate brought up that Illegal mexican clones are taking Troop jobs away from the deserving non-mexican-clone people?
