Anyone might think this could go against Geneva Conventions? And a bit strange that a photo like this managed to get by officials holding Saddam?

It's not against the geneva convention to survey prisoners by security camera, but humiliation of prisoners is. This is sure to spite people off, despite how much Bush would like to believe everyone will just shrug it off.

I care. The US should follow the convention on prisoners (although the military had some recent problems).

By all accounts that I've heard, this released photograph violates some form of Geneva Convention law/rule/whatever.

But I would also think that it would be a violate of Geneva Convention to subject the citizens of the world to the photograph.

Um, taking a picture of someone in thier underwear while they are a prisoner, and POSTING IT ON THE FRONT PAGE OF A PUBLIC NEWSPAPER for everyone to laugh at is a horrible thing to do. Even if they deserve it.

I believe I read that a computer error in the military computers got the picture faxed to a british press machine somehow.
