OLD NEWZ! Sorry, had to get it in just once, no hard feelings . The R420 was publicly announced what, a week ago? It looks nice. Benches show it's better than the 6800, not equal (DO NOT LISTEN TO TOMS HARDWARE.COM FOR HARDWARE ADVICE. I know some of you may ask "why not?" Well, they put the GFX 5600 = ATi 9600. Which isn't true. Trust me, they're biased towards Intel and nVidia wholly.) along with just as expensive. Or as good as the 6800 for less. You choose

And one could say the same about HardOCP being completely ATI biased. That all doesn't matter though. It's obvious it's better at DirectX, but it's also obvious that NVidia's cards are better at OpenGL. So it's foolish to say "this is better" since they both have strong points that you can't really weigh as being better than the other's.
