So much for his statement concerning him not being involved with the MGS series anymore. MGS 4 will continue shortly after MGS 2 ended with the main character being Solid Snake.


Judging by this picture, I saythe first guy is Vamp, the second is Meryl, the third is Raiden (and his child), Ocelot is the fourth, Solid Snake is the fifth, and I'm not sure who the other three characters are.

Yes, quite funny. I always loved the MGS Trailers (or in this case a teaser) cause they are so delightfully entertaining.

Oh and I now have a reason to buy the PS3.

Anyway, here's an MSG experts opinion on the image:

The first is questionable. I'd be suprised if it were Vamp, as you said. I want to leave this one out in the open for now.

The second is Meryl, failing that, Boss. More than likelly Meryl.

Third, Definetly Raiden.

Fourth, obviously ocelot.

Fifth, snake.

Sixth, Otecon.

Seventh is possibly solidus, as he looks 'clone'-ish. It could be Big Boss back from near death.

The last looks like Sniper Wolf, to me. I REALLY liked her character, and she had a deeper tie to snake than the rest of that game's cast, so I wouldn't be at all suprised if she returned to be Raiden's mother, or some crazy stuff like that.

Either way, I don't know how I feel about Snake's stash.

My opinion is:

Vamp, Meryl, Raiden, Ocelot, Snake, Otacon, Big Boss (resurrected, possibly), and Naomi

I'd actually be surprised if it wasn't Vamp. I've heard he appeared in the ending to MGS2 in the background, but I never completed it again to check.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this. I've been playing Snake Eater non-stop for the past week or so (<3 Ocelot's three-gun roulette), and MGS is definately my favourite series of games.

six looks like decoy octapus to me... but he's dead.... so it might be otacon.

8 really looks alot like Big Boss from MGS3

#1 Could be Vamp, but I thought Vamp was more muscular

#2 Looks like Meryl, but I thought Meryl was dead (Japanese version she dies if I remember correctly, American gave you the option)

#6 Anyone notice his left eye has a white object over it, and his right eye doesn't?

Wouldn't it be really frigging weird though if the 2 main baddies in this game were Boss and Big Boss?

There better not be another Big Boss clone. Solidus was okay, but I didn't like him as much as Liquid and Solid Snake.

That first one is definetly Vamp, you notice a bullet hole right in the middle of his forehead. No doubts there.

IF ANYTHING EIGHT WOULD BE SOLIDUS.

Big Boss is D-E-A-D DEAD. No matter how you look at it, he died in a previous game and stayed dead. That would either be Solidus, another ghey clone, or the robot ninja.

If you think about it the only real possibility for seven is Big Boss in some way. Solidus lost his left eye, not his right, as far as I remember. In my opinion, it's going to be the resurrection of Big Boss (crazy stuff like this happens all the time in MGS, after all). I mean, if you look at his body it looks...well, corpse like.

Oh, and let's face it. Big Boss is going to have taken a huge increase in popularity now that people have played him in Snake Eater.

6th is Otecon... the 'thing over his eye' is his left glasses eye shimmering.
