Did the release of RotS rekindle your love for Star Wars gaming?

I think it has for me. Every since seeing the movie last Sunday, my interest in Star Wars gaming has definately perked up again. I decided to reinstall Battlefront and Jedi Academy recently and I'm getting back into playing those games again instead of playing WoW like a drug addict. I'm even thinking of giving JA editing another whirl since I haven't done that in ages. Anyone else here like me who has been dormant when it comes to Star Wars gaming that has recently decided to get back into it because of Episode III or are you guys just looking at me thinking "Heretic! How dare you say such a thing! I've always been playing SW games non-stop before EPIII you sick freak!"?
The cake is a lie... THE CAKE IS A LIE!!!!!

Wow, that's cool... not only do people still play it, but they will install old games just to play it. I think I have something in my eye....

i'm going to install galaxies again for my boys. they are buggin' the crap outta me to start again now that we can afford it. i'll play a few hours on the weekends.
i also brought both the GC and xbox upstairs for some SW gaming of different sorts. i had 4 kids in the living room on monday afternoon and we were all playing a little tournament of clone wars on GC. the youngest of them could not be beat. he actually trippled all our scores on a regular basis. he's nine.
dam kids! good fun.

Haha... that's pretty funny. The fact that BTM was made four years ago and made a joke about the entire thing being filmed in front of greenscreen to make a point about Lucas' over-dependence on CGI, and it literally became a reality.

It's like that on my system as well. Frankly after reading that, I think it's just a bug. My solution was just to quicksave ALL THE TIME. ESPECIALLY before a loading zone, which are all marked on the map. That way you don't loose any progress, and it's just annoying. After reloading the game and my quicksave, I usually didn't have any problems passing through the zone again.

It was a great movie, but I didn't feel like reinstalling JO (although I could have done it for Party Crasher) and JA (well, the Dark Forces Mod was great). As for JK, it's too old for me to touch :D

I am too stubborn. I expect every other Star Wars game to bring back the awesomeness of JK.

KotOR and KotOR II are the only games to do the Jedi right. Jedi Knight comes in a close second, but a complex RPG system with such open worlds was hardly possible at the time nor ideal for the design goals. Being a Jedi is more than just a lightsaber and the Force - there's negotiating, peace keeping, etc., which KotOR does a great job of. Jedi are supposed to be recognized as fair and just peace keepers across the galaxy. I thought it was great how everyone noticed you in those games and asked for your advice - or told you to go to hell.

RotS has inspired me to play back through KOTOR and KOTOR II consecutively at some point this summer.

It's rekindled my love of SW:CCG.

I'm also thinking about finally buying KOTOR. Since school ended today, it'll give me something fun to do.

Same here, except I'm playing KotOR II for the first time because my roommate stole it from his brother back home, and leaves it in the XBox in the living room.

Yeah, I started doing that after about 5 extremely annoying crashes. After a few weeks of playing it, I got to that one world covered by water (inhabited by fish-like people who built structures for land-dwellers. it's the planet where the republic/sith coexist and the fish-like people enforce the peace) and I started crashing EVERY TIME I tried entering a section of the world I was supposed to go to. :-( Had to stop playing KOTOR...
