I think SOTD somewhat interest people to do work. Many people want to have there work featured on Massassi's front page.

No, those are pretty much unretreivable.

Well, there is the web archive. I think we might piece together something.

It will take a significant amount of work to get those back Unless someone wants to do it by hand I'm pretty much out of ideas. I have a few years worth of backups, I think I missed most of 2004 but all before that I have the pages, it's just a matter of copy/pasting the info from those pages into the new sotd form.

I could do some (because I have really not much to do in the next week.) Is it hard?

It wouldn't be hard if the code was finished I'll try to work on it this weekend and I'll send you a forum PM when it's ready.

Could you not write an autoconverter (read files, insert into new database)

Just a question to make things difficult for you guys. Would it be possible to add a feature that allows you to search for past SotD's by author and/or keyword? I think that could be handy.

It's really admirable to see these editors still making levels for a community who thinks that JK sucks for it's age. You know what you are.

If you put those into a tab-separated text file I could import them programmatically and save us all a lot of time. Just go like:

Brian or another admin, I need the password (or new one) for SotD again and the new method to get into it again. I don't have the email with it all in it, and none admins have contacted me about it.
