I thought a new thread would be ideal for this topic. Who would you cast in the EU's movies, were they to ever be made?

By the way, no spoiler tags. Anyone who knows enough about th eu to cast major characters has read the EU anyway.

To start off:

Corran? I could completelly see Klyve Owens (SP?), but maybe because I see him as a pilot character already.
Mara Jade? Angelina Joelee comes to mind immediatly, but god knows her acting has gone down the ****hole.
Bel Ilbis? I'd have to place Mr. Sean Connery.

I always thought that Gary Oldman would make a good Thrawn.

Jake Gyllenhaal as Luke

He might be a bit young, but I think he has the acting skills and the looks to be Luke.

Angelina Jolie might make a good Admiral Daala, but I think Mara Jade should be played by someone else.

Connery would be a good Pellaeon.

I'm trying to think of a good Exar Kun or Kir Kanos, but no one comes to mind.

One time my colors got demented whilst watching Equilibrium on my PC, and Christian Bale was shown completely blue (, while in his white uniform toward the end of the movie; ironically.) Needless to say, heh, he makes an excellent Thrawn ! !

I just recently watched the Machinist. I must say, Christian Bale has a lot more talent than most give him credit for.

I don't know if you guys ever saw Black Hawk Down (Im sure you all have.)

Anyways he plays one of the two Delta operators who drops down into combat knowing full well his chances of survival are slim...

Johnny Strong

I think he'd be perfect for Dash Rendar, just has that ego to him or whatever like quiet but his prescence just screams badass
