Well well well, never thought I would of returned to AC, but here I am playing like crazy.

About two weeks ago I was bored out of my mind and decided to install AC and see what was going on. So bored in fact I was willing to spend $12.95 for what I thought would of been 30 minutes of entertainment.

Well, I got hooked again! Does anyone here from Massassi play anymore? Question is geared towards a few select people :).

I believe all the AC people moved to WoW or CoH.

I still play from time to time, but I never bothered to migrate my old account.

I play WoW... Pretty sure LightStaff still plays.

AC is by far the greatest MMORPG ever.

I'm having a blast playing...of course I miss all my old pals :).

If anyone does play, Spectrael or Tyranus on Morningthaw :).

I gave my old account away.. :(

Last I heard Tabendah was a buff-bot somewhere raking in a 7-digit salary.

I reactivated mine for a month for the hell of it (even though I probably could get more entertainment out of a cheap bottle of vodka of equal value). Won't play any till tomorrow night probably though.

I last tried it about 9 months or so ago, so all of the equipment I had that was then pretty awesome is probably crap once again. I think I was level 90-something. I forget specifically what.

Well hell, Algerad :), I'll be on around 1:30 or so (after I get off work). Send me a tell!

I recently reactivated my account - they got the info from the old pre-PASSPORT days (I cancelled when they started requiring passport). I'm sort of lost, but I drop in now and again and fight some dudes on harvestgain.

The new launcher reminds me of a crummy VB app, lol.

(But it's still 8000 times better than the old web-based login or the old zone login before that.)

I havn't played in a while as I've been rocking an Apple for the past two years, but i've been using my papa's computer from time to time over the past year.. I got two characters both to level 80 then quit.

I've been messing around in Dereth a bit for the last few weeks. Of course, I currently and always have played on LeafCull since shortly after the shadow wars. Before that I played briefly on FrostFell, so my presence matters little to most of you other players. :)

As for the launcher, I like it much better than that MS mess of a login service. It's not as pretty as other launchers, such as those for WoW or SWG, but then you also spend less time looking at it than for those other games.

It's good to be addicted again. :) None of the other MMOs I've played (and there have been many) feel like home like AC does. From the screech of the low-poly-count drudges to the wolves howling in the distance while watching the moons rise over the angular horizon outside Linvak Tukal, it's good to be home.

Hmmm...I remember that game. As a matter of fact, I got an e-mail wanting to know if I wanted to transfer my old account over to the new servers. Didn't know old Lennox MacDuff still even existed, since I didn't play him for like, 2 and a half years and all. :p

They only deleted characters once ever, and that was like a year and a half or two after the game went live. At that point they only deleted characters that were inactive for like a year or so.

So essentially, as long as you played past the first sixth months or so, your character should last as long as the game does.

I played the game for the first time a few months ago.

Naturally, I found far too many things wrong with the game to consider continuing to pay for it. That seems to be how it goes for people who haven't played it before.

Darn, house is gone. I was hoping maybe some good samaritan would've kept it going for those 9 or however months, lol.

Oh well, no major loss. All my money, swords, and armor is still on me. Can easily get another cottage. There's 8 billion available now because not enough active players to occupy them all now, so no longer does one last for 5 minutes after going on the market.

Villas are still a hot commodity (hotter now I'd imagine) unfortunately. Wish I'd have kept up with that one I had, seeing as it was one of the first houses to be gotten on the server.

Heh, I think it's time for some 1600x1200 8x AA 16x AF to make it look a little more bearable. That's if I play enough to bother taking the time to modify drivers to make 1600x1200 work (which I doubt).

6 of the fondest consecutive gaming hours of my life. Didnt we get ours within minutes of each other?

I'm playing as a level ~16 battlemage on Morningthaw named Jon Clark or something. And it's been at level 16 for quite a while.

If I spent all of my time playing it I'd probably be level 80 in a month. Or less. But playing alone kinda sucks. Fourwood started playing again too but I think he hasn't been on in a while.

I was going to ask if you were playing someone called Jon Clark. I saw you the other day in Hebian-to.

Yeah, I think it was pretty close. Saw that message while I was out in Dires if I recall correctly and ran into a Void Knight. Killed it and got a writ off that first one, heh. Then spent the next few hours just straight searching and killing till I had all 5. Ran to the lone villa in the NE and saw it wasn't for sale, got annoyed, and ran to the backup settlement.
