Batman Begins

Has anyone seen that 10 minute Batman Begins preview on Smallville? Frigging sweet. It wasn't straight action, most of it was just talking actually, with only a couple minutes of action.

My only problem I thought was the way he talks at Batman, just sounded truly awful.

If you wanna see it, go here, registar and download. I will NOT post a direct link to the D/L that he provides, and if ANYONE here posts a direct link to the download, I will terminate this thread, and ask an administrator to terminate the thread or just the post. Registar on the site, it's free. And takes the same amount of time it took to read this. The file is 102 megs. If anyone wants to post it from there own site, be my guest. But don't direct link to this site.

Just serarch Batman Begins, it should be on the main page as well.

I personally think he is a great actor for Bruce Wayne, the way he speaks as Wayne and looks is amazing. I love the part where he discusses with Alfred on his plane back to Gotham about how he wants to become something more.

"People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy, and I can't do that as Bruce Wayne. As a man of flesh and blood, I can be ignored, I can be destroyed; but as a symbol...as a symbol I can be incorruptable. I can be everlasting."

I think that's more accurate. :p

But don't get me worng, I have high hopes for this film, I think Christian Bale could be very good in the role. But since I haven't seen it yet, I can't convince myself their's a 100% chance it is going to rock. I hope it does though.

Just the trailers themselves are better than the last two Batman films, and it's got a list of really really good actors. Granted it's a little too early to say it's an awesome movie, I already love what they've done with it. Except for the Batmobile, but it's growing on me.

This is true. It is not often that you can go wrong with a film co-starring Michael Caine and Gary Oldman...

I can't foresee this movie ending up as bad as Batman and Robin, that movie was just god awful. You gotta like the darker route they are taking, I can't wait to see how they portray the Scarecrow. Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, a lil' bit of Morgan freeman, that's a better lineup than any of the previous Batman movies.

The feel of the movie is much darker, like the first Batman movie. That's a good thing.

possible SPOILER warning.

[spoilerI really love the fact they're going with the Ninja training backstory like Batman: The Animated Series did.[/spoiler]

Your spoiler tags didn't work.

As for the movie, if you watch the 10 minute preview, you get a pretty good idea of whats going on and how it works. And it comes off as great. I mean seriously, how often do you get to see a 10 minute preview of a movie like that, that isn't all action?

True. They really showed what the story is.

More then that, they showed about 6 and a half minutes in detail of JUST story with little to no action. Other than the Qui-Gon Jinn training sequence that is. The action only begins like at the very end and is only like 2 minutes.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

From what i've seen so far, this one will hopefully be right up there with the first two films. Batman Returns is the best so far i think.:)

664, The Bloke Next Door.

This ACTUALLY seems interesting with the return to Burton-ish mood, the cast and all that. The batmobile was HORRIBLE though.
Yeah, you stay here and take life seriously. I'll go and have some fun.

I wish they would stick to the comics a tiny bit more. Ra's Al Ghul is in it, which I'm not convinced is a great idea. I hope they don't ruin his entire character like they did with Two-Face, Penguin, and partly to Mr. Freeze.

Oh, and I still have a huge problem with the rubber Batman costume they use in the movies.

I had a disclaimer here, but the man said it was too long.

Gary Oldman will make the movie a definite must-see, despite quality. It does look very good so far, though.
